Free AI website builder with a prompt: three you can copy

Published 2 November 2026

The short answer

With a free AI website builder you describe your business in a prompt and get a draft site. A good prompt names what you do, who you serve, where you are and how people should contact you, in two to four sentences. Orivox's free plan lets you try this with no card, and you refine the draft afterwards by asking for changes.

We make Orivox, so treat this as the publisher's view. Every figure for another company comes from that company's own pricing page, read on 2 November 2026; prices change and vary by country, so check before you buy.

What a good prompt contains

  • What you do, in plain words.
  • Who you do it for.
  • Where you work, or that you work online.
  • How people should contact you: phone, email, or a form.
  • One thing that sets you apart, such as years of experience or same-day service. Only include what is true.

Three prompts to copy

A plumber: 'A family-run plumbing business in Leeds. We fix leaks, boilers and blocked drains for homeowners and landlords, with same-day call-outs. Show our phone number at the top and a short contact form.'

A tutor: 'An online maths tutor for secondary school students. One-to-one sessions by video, flexible evenings and weekends. Explain how a first lesson works and let parents send a message.'

A bakery: 'A small neighbourhood bakery selling sourdough, pastries and custom birthday cakes. Show opening hours, the address with a map, and a gallery of cakes. Orders by phone.'

What to do after the first draft

  1. Read every sentence. The builder cannot know your prices, hours or qualifications unless you told it.
  2. Open the draft on your phone.
  3. Ask for changes in plain words: shorten the headline, add a section for emergency call-outs, use a calmer colour.
  4. Save your credits: collect several changes and ask for them together.

On Orivox's free plan you get 5 AI credits a month plus 15 on signup, so a few rounds of changes fit.

Common questions

How long should a website prompt be?

Two to four sentences is enough. More detail helps where it is about your business, and does not where it is filler.

Can I use the same prompt in different builders?

Yes. Pasting one prompt into two builders is a fair way to compare their first drafts.

What if the draft is wrong?

Ask for the specific change you want. Edits by chat are the point of an AI builder, and each one uses some credits.

Describe your business in a sentence or two and Orivox builds the first draft of your website. The free plan needs no credit card.
