How to make a website just by describing your business
Published 2 November 2026The short answer
Write two or three sentences covering what you do, who for, where, and what makes you different, then give them to an AI website builder. It returns a complete first draft, usually in under two minutes. Orivox's own FAQ says between 20 and 90 seconds depending on the model and the site. You then refine it by asking for changes.
What a good description contains
- What you do, in the words a customer would use.
- Who it is for.
- Where you operate.
- The one thing that makes you different.
- What a visitor should do next: call, book, request a quote.
Three descriptions that work
- Restaurant: 'A small Georgian restaurant in Tel Aviv, known for khachapuri and a quiet back garden. Open Tuesday to Sunday evenings. Visitors should be able to see the menu and book a table.'
- Tradesperson: 'Emergency electrician in Manchester, covering the whole city, 24 hours, fixed call-out price. Visitors should see the price and call immediately.'
- Consultant: 'Independent accountant for freelancers and small shops in Leeds. Fixed monthly fees, no jargon. Visitors should be able to request a free first call.'
Notice what is missing: colours, fonts, layouts. Say those only if you have a strong preference; otherwise let the draft show you something and react to it.
What you get back
A builder that creates sites from a description produces the pages, the wording, a design and images for them. Orivox says its output is real HTML, CSS and JavaScript rather than text dropped into a fixed template, and that every element can be edited afterwards. Treat the first draft as a strong starting point, not a finished site: the facts, prices and wording are yours to check.
After the first draft
- Check every fact: address, hours, prices, phone number. A builder cannot know these unless you told it.
- Ask for changes in plain language: 'make the headline shorter', 'add a section about emergency call-outs', 'use a darker blue'.
- Replace generic images with your own photos.
- Publish when it reads like you.
Common questions
Does it matter how long my description is?
Two or three sentences is enough to start. More detail helps when it is detail a visitor needs, such as your area, your prices or your hours.
Can I describe my business in another language?
Orivox has a Hebrew version at he.orivox.pro. For other languages, try a short description and see how the draft reads.
Is the first draft ready to publish?
Rarely without a check. It is a good starting point, but you must confirm facts the builder could not know.
