Orivox AI website builder review: a walkthrough, step by step

Published 2 November 2026

The short answer

In short: Orivox turns a description into a hosted website in under a couple of minutes, lets you change it by chatting, and charges $5 a month for one site with hosting. It is strong on speed and price, and thinner on store, booking and customer-management features. This walkthrough covers each step; we are the publisher, so read it with that in mind.

Orivox's team wrote this page, so it is the publisher's view and not an independent review. We have left out ratings and testimonials on purpose: a rating we gave ourselves would tell you nothing.

Step 1: describe the business

You start with a text box and one or two sentences about the business. Orivox suggests starting points such as a local business, a restaurant or a professional service. You create a free account to save your work; no credit card is needed.

Step 2: the first draft

Orivox builds the pages, the text, a design and images, and shows a live preview. Its own FAQ gives 20 to 90 seconds depending on the model and the complexity. The draft is a strong start but not final: it cannot know your exact prices, hours or credentials unless you told it.

Step 3: editing

You change the site by chatting, for example 'shorten the headline' or 'add a section about emergency call-outs', or in the visual editor, where each element can be changed directly. Edits use AI credits, so the monthly allowance matters: 5 on the free plan, 40 on Single Site, 100 on 5 Sites.

Step 4: publish and connect a domain

Publishing is a single step. The free plan publishes on an Orivox address; a paid plan lets you connect your own domain, with hosting and SSL included. Orivox helps with the address settings so you do not have to configure DNS yourself.

Redesigning an existing site

Instead of starting from a blank description, you can give Orivox your current address. It scans the site and produces a refreshed version, which you review before replacing anything.
